After nearly 4 years in court proceedings, the Amsterdam court has finally decided that matrimonial property must be divided according to Ukraine’s matrimonial property law.
Also, an apartment bought by the man prior to the marriage date can be seen as joint property that should be divided 50/50 between the parties, applying the rules for reasonableness and fairness.
